Suburban Community Hospital Welcomes New Chief Nursing Officer, Mary Frances Stapleton, MSN, RN, CEN, NE-BC

East Norriton, PA (March 26, 2024) —Suburban Community Hospital announced today the appointment of Mary Frances Stapleton, MSN, RN, CEN, NE-BC, an experienced healthcare administrator as its new chief nursing officer.

Mary Frances has more than 25 years of nursing experience, with a focus on emergency, critical care, behavioral health, and medical-surgical areas. Mary Frances joins Suburban Community Hospital from AtlantiCare in New Jersey, where she held several leadership roles, including Assistant Vice President of Nursing at both AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus and City Campus; Clinical Director of Critical Care, Emergency Services, Acute and Chronic Dialysis Units, and Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department. Prior to that, she held positions at Temple University Health System and Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Mary Frances earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Neumann College; a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Drexel University; and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from Drexel University.
