Spotlight-Marc Baron, RN, Director of Nursing
Marc Baron is a prehospital provider with 27 years of experience in the EMS and fire community, both as a volunteer and career member. He has 18 years of nursing experience, specializing in emergency and transport medicine. Marc spent five years as a leader in pediatric transport at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Currently, Marc is the Director of Nursing for Suburban Community Hospital outside of Philadelphia. He has also spent time as the Director of Emergency Services for Salem Medical Center in New Jersey, where he oversaw the Emergency Department and started a new SCT and Transport Team. Marc holds his master’s degree in Nursing Education and is currently working on his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). He holds multiple national certifications in both Nursing and PreHospital medicine, notably his NEA-BC, CEN, CPEN, CFEN, and TCRN.
