About our Residents
Resident Testimonials
“PCOM/Suburban Community Hospital was a fantastic place to do my residency program. I truly felt prepared to become an attending when I finished. Between the supportive atmosphere, the knowledgeable attendings, and the great curriculum, I learned everything I needed to and more in my three years there. The residents, among all of the programs, work really well together which makes for a great work environment as well. The attending’s, among all specialties, are extremely approachable and always available for questions and help. The didactics and journal clubs were pertinent to everyday family medicine topics. Because of the diverse patient population we serve in this area, I saw a lot of pathology and diseases you would not typically see in other places. The best part is that the residents run the family medicine residency continuity clinic. Therefore, you take the initiative as the patients’ primary care physician and manage every aspect of their care. You don’t just shadow or manage someone else’s patients like you might in other programs. These patients are actually your patients! This is what really prepares you to become a great physician. I am grateful to have spent my time here and could not have imagined myself anywhere else. “
