Message from the DIO
Prime Healthcare’s Graduate Medical Education program in Pennsylvania offers immersive training in various specialties, including Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, and Podiatry. Residents benefit from the guidance of some of the top clinical faculty in the state, enhancing their educational experience. A standout feature of our program is the chance for residents to work with a diverse range of patients, allowing them to significantly contribute to improving patient health.
Our Prime Healthcare Pennsylvania Region includes Suburban Community Hospital, Lower Bucks Hospital, and Roxborough Memorial Hospital. We are dedicated to developing well-rounded healthcare professionals through our Graduate Medical Education initiatives, which provide residents and fellows with extensive training and a superior educational environment.
Choosing a residency program is one of the most important decisions of your medical career. Your future residency will be your home for the next three years. As such, it should be a place that can foster personal and professional growth. We pride ourselves on our strong collegiality among residents and the frequent professional and personal interactions with our faculty.
Our Family Medicine residency is one of the first osteopathic family medicine residencies in the country, founded by Dr. Arnold Sokol in the mid 70’s. Over the years our residency has successfully established and continues to nurture a positive learning environment that stimulates personal growth and allows for both academic and professional development. We are dedicated to the training and development of qualified physicians to practice the specialty of Family Medicine as competent, caring, and knowledgeable primary care physicians in the ambulatory, hospital, and nursing home settings.
